Submissions

Submissions are invited for contributed talks and posters at the conference. Talks will be selected on the basis of scientific excellence, fit to the conference, and balance of the program.

All submissions should be made online at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=qsim2023

Areas of interest for QSim include, but are not restricted to:

  • Platforms for quantum simulation
  • Applications of quantum simulation
  • Scaling up quantum simulators
  • Quantum error correction, mitigation, and fault-tolerance in quantum simulation
  • Verification of quantum simulation
  • Fault-tolerant quantum simulation algorithms
  • Near-term quantum simulation algorithms
  • Tomography of quantum many-body systems
  • Many-body physics in quantum simulators
  • Proofs of quantumness

Important dates:

  • Contributed talk submission deadline: 24th of March 2023
  • Decision notification: 12th of May 2023
  • Poster submission deadline: 10th of July 2023

All deadlines are in the AoE (Anywhere on Earth) time zone.

Submission Guidelines

Contributed talk submissions:

Submissions are invited for contributed talks that will be presented as short (15 min) talks at the conference. Talks that are not included in the program will be considered as posters, and poster-only submissions are also possible.

Poster submissions:

Talk submissions that are not retained will automatically be considered for the poster session. In addition, you can submit your work for a poster-only presentation. In the latter case, no extended abstract or paper is required.

Submission format:

Submissions for contributed talks should include an extended abstract of 1-2 pages (including figures, but not including references) that provides a non-technical, clear, and insightful description of the main ideas, results, and impact of the work. Submissions may optionally include a full technical version of the paper, which will be read at the program committee’s discretion. All extended abstract and paper submissions will be shared only with the program committee. Poster-only submissions do not require an extended abstract or paper.

All submissions should be made online at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=qsim2023
